Porto Heli

Porto Heli’s fine little harbor is well protected from the wind and much favored by yachtsmen. Across the way are the ruins of the ancient city of Alieon. Whether you came by sea or not, you will enjoy your stroll through the streets lined with shops, restaurants and hotels. Porto Heli is one of the most famous and luxurious holiday destinations in Greece.

Agios Emilianos

A few kilometers south of Porto Heli, on the southernmost cape in Argolida, Agios Emilianos takes its name from a chapel with a good view of Spetses. Hidden in the lush surroundings are the grand summer houses of famous Greeks and foreigners and isolated sandy beaches where you can enjoy the warm clear waters.

Ermioni

Small and tidy on its peninsula, Ermioni resembles and piney island. Here, too, you will find villas hidden among the majestic Peloponnese landscape. For you the attraction is its famous tavernas serving delicious fresh fish, followed by dancing.

Kosta

Just 5km from Porto Heli, the site of the ferry crossing to Spetses impresses with its many fine and large villas.

Koilada

Around 10km northwest of Porto Heli is the village of Kilada, famous for its prawns and its handsome shipyard. The fishing boats you will find bobbing in the harbor are a characteristic sight. But you’ve come for the prawns.

Kranidi

Discover the unexpected charm of this small town with its neoclassical buildings, narrow streets, stone walls full of flowers and well-tended windmills topped with colorful roofs. Kranidi perches on rocky hills encircled by the pine forest of Agia Anna overlooking the whole area, softening the wild landscape of the Peloponnese.

Spetses island

The island has managed to retain its individual traditional character thanks to its well-preserved grand captain mansions, still bearing eloquent witness to the island’s glorious past. The picturesque old harbour and Dápia, a tourist and commercial centre where the heart of the island’s entertainment beats, are the trademarks of the town of Spetses. Just 10 minutes by sea-taxi from Porto Heli.

Hydra island

Hydra, built in the shape of an amphitheatre on a slope overlooking the Argosaronic gulf, is one of the most romantic destinations in Greece. Traditional stone mansions, narrow cobblestoned streets, secluded squares and above all the banning of cars and the use of around 500 donkeys as means of public transportation, explain the reason why Hydra preserved its distinctive atmosphere through the passage of time. Just 20 minutes from Porto Heli, 15 minutes from Ermioni by sea-taxi.

Poros island

The town of Poros is built in the shape of an amphitheatre over two hills. Lush pine trees vegetation, crystal clear beaches, a lively waterfront adorned with shops, cosy cafes and restaurants, a picturesque capital (it has been declared protected settlement) with grand traditional mansions and picturesque cobbled streets, as well as a wide selection of entertainment venues are the ingredients of this quiet, yet cosmopolitan, destination that attracts visitors from all age groups.

Nafplio

One of the most beautiful towns in the area of Peloponnese, as well as one of the most romantic cities all over Greece. Nafplio was the first capital of the newly born Greek state.  You should visit the imposing rocky peninsula Akronafplia, the finest samples of the Venetian fortifications in Greece: the huge, well-maintained castle of Palamidi and the castle Bourtzi, which is Nafplio’s ‘sea tower’. Just one hour by car or by yacht.

Epidaurus

Epidaurus (Epidavros) is a historic region of Argolida in the eastern side, located at the foot of mountains Arachnaio, Premium and Tithio, where -according to mythology- Asclepius was born. Among all the ancient theatres, Epidaurus theatre is the most beautiful and best preserved. Destined for the fun of the patients of Asklipieio, it had a capacity of 13,000 spectators.  Famous for its acoustics, this theatre can offer you moments of great emotion, either you go there as spectator or just as visitor. Just 30 minutes by car.

Monemvasia

Monemvasia, founded by the Byzantines in the sixth century, is a breathtaking medieval tower town located on the south-eastern coast of the Peloponnese. Take the opportunity to explore this mystical stone-built settlement, nestled at the edge of a big rock by the sea and immerse yourself in a unique medieval atmosphere. Ideal for one day trips by boat or by yacht.

Mycenae

The “golden” city of Mycenae, the city of the legendary king Atreus and Agamemnon is one of the most important and famous archaeological sites of Greece. The Mycenaean citadel is still a fascinating place. Sightseeing : The majestic Lions Gate, the royal complex, the six royal tombs, the treasure of Atreus and many others. The modern village of Mycenae is 2 km away from the archaeological site. It is located 24 km north from Nafplion.
